Recently I watched a TED talk about the power of making small, incremental changes to promote permanent change. The theory being that you can do ANYTHING for 30 days. I speak this message often (or one similar to it) but watching this video challenged me to take it to a new level.
And so, starting today, I am beginning a 30-day challenge to better see the extraordinary in my very ordinary life. I will call this project “Through my Eyes.”
My rules are:
1) Take one picture every day for thirty days and post it to my blog.
2) I cannot be IN the picture. It must capture life as I see it through my eyes.
3) The description of the picture must be minimal. (That will be hard for me!!!!) They say a picture’s worth a thousand words so I shouldn’t need many)
4) The picture should remind me to stop, take notice, and be more fully present in my life.
Why don’t you join me? Post your picture to Facebook, your blog, or any social media medium you choose. Together we can be reminded of the power of intention, positivity, and gratitude for the life we lead as we walk this earth.
